Thanks for registering to be a subscriber of PEF. We want this portal to meet you professional needs as a Project Executive. The goal of PEF is Peer-to-Peer Learning. In order to accomplish that goal- you need to get involved and offer questions, thoughts, concerns, etc to the community.
Its easy to do- just create a blog and post to the portal. We want you to put "stuff" out there so that others can read, respond, expand, argue, whatever! Its all about sharing information and growing professionally! I hope that you'll take the plunge and offer your thoughts!

Feel free to respond to this Blog as well and let us know what you want or how we can improve the site for your success? Stay tuned too, as we're working diligently to get the webinars up and offer live content that inspires and helps you in your day to day!

All the best,
Adam Kahn

I just want to officially welcome you to PEF. We've only been promoting this new portal for 2 weeks and we already have 170 approved subscribers. In order to maximize your subscription, I suggest you do a few things:
1) Complete your profile
2) Add your picture (it’s always great to connect a face with a name)
3) Start posting comments, blogging, and connecting

Our goal with this portal is to create a truly collaborative community. We will begin to provide regular articles and webinars to educate you on relevant content, but the main goal is peer-to-peer interaction and education. We want you to share and learn from each other. It’s the main reason that subscribers must be approved to be members. This way you know you're interacting with professionals who share similar responsibilities and issues at their organization.
As always, we encourage you to offer feedback about your experience, both positive and negative). Feel free to reach and let us know what you think. We can't improve and meet your needs without hearing from you.

All the best,
Adam R. Kahn

The Great Divide

Lisa DiTullio

There is a growing divide between senior leaders and project managers.  Senior executives view project management as administrative overhead; project managers view senior leaders as disinterested.  Who’s right?

PMOs Don't Work!

I've got to say I've spoken with hundreds of PMO directors and managers and my view is that they just don't work. They don't truly accomplish the theoretical goals of why PMOs were created in the first place. Would love to hear what others are doing regarding their PMOs and how they are taking their project portfolios to the next level of true strategic alignment with the enterprise.
