			<description>Ken, Good article. I also see more PMOs fail than succeed. I am watching the business analysis discipline to see if we have the same results. In 2006-2007 many companies were talking about setting up a BA Center of Excellence (COE) modeled after the PMO. I am not sure how many succeeded but with the economic downturn, many of these initiatives were put on hold. I do believe a central group of expert BAs who mentor and coach other BAs in the organization is a great way to improve project success. Maybe we need to come up with a better term for these central groups? PM Help Desk or BA Support Center. PMs and BAs throughout the organization should look to these central groups as a resource not a burden. - Barbara Carkenord</description>
